I overate and drunk far too much over the last few weeks … but I had a great time and now I am planning to get myself back on track again. I need to feel light and airy again and not stuffed! So, this is what I will be doing …
My overall goal is to lose 14lb by end of April 2022 (4 months), this would be around 3.5 lbs ish a month. I could possibly lose more and most likely will but I am being realistic, as I still want to enjoy my relationship with food.
Before I set unrealistic goals and gave up because I become demotivated and then soon forgot why I wanted to shift some weight in the first place … until I tried to find clothes to fit me and to look sort of OK.
My first call of action is to write my weekly and monthly target goals in my diary and get into my head that I will never let a day pass without doing something towards my goal.
My daily routine will therefore include:
🤩 Writing for a few minutes in my notepad/journal with a cuppa, I will be writing how I’m feeling and what I have achieved so far.
🤩 Looking at my Pinterest boards and adding a few new looks to my virtual new wardrobe.
🤩 Weighing myself every day and use this as information. It still fascinates me to see what I can and cannot eat and of course keeps me on track. I will then mark my weight every day in my diary.
🤩 A brisk walk up and down my track (twice) which is about a mile.
🤩 Get ready for the day and have breakfast.
🤩 Breakfast will be porridge, apple/pear, and a dash of cinnamon and or eggs, tomatoes, and mushrooms with a slice of toast depending on my lunch or dinner arrangements.
I won’t worry about eating out and will never feel as though I was missing out. I always found it crazy before when I used to say “right today I start my diet”, and then get invited out or put in a situation where I would not have healthy food choices.
I will barter and compensate with what I eat during the same day or have a leaner following day. To me, it was all about mindset and breaking the chain of overeating.
I don’t really eat meat or drink much (well apart from over the festive season) as I would rather have a few crisps and chocolate.
For lunch, I will have a sandwich (I would limit my carbs), nuts or fruit, or a salad (depending on dinner arrangements).
Dinner will be a stir fry, 3 bean chili with a little rice or noodles, jacket pots with salad, or homemade pitta pizza. My food was pretty basic but very healthy!
This is how I goal set my way to 4 stone weight loss but I also use this method for every other goal I set myself.
